Late last year, the Archdiocese announced its plan to create a regional school with the support of the 4 area parishes of Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Matthews, St. John Vianney and St. Michaels. None of the three schools involved (OLG has no school) are being closed, nor are they being merged; instead the intention is to transition them from 3 parish schools into 1 regional school that will be economically sustainable and accessible to more students across the region. The new school will be housed on the St. Michael campus, will open its doors September 2012 and will be called Community of Saints Regional Catholic School.
