SEAT BELTS
The recent tragedy involving teenagers not wearing seat belts is a good reminder for all of us to buckle up. Not just the driver but our beautiful children, too.

FOOD DRIVE
On Saturday, April 24, St. Michael's School and Parish helped St. Matthew Court of Catholic Order of Foresters achieve its first Join Hands Day project. We boxed up and delivered a total of 432 pounds of food and personal care items to Neighbors, Inc. in SPA Thank you for your support.
Too bad the weather did not cooperate so we could clean the parish/school grounds.
The Foresters brought many hot dogs and chips to give to workers.
They offered them to our First Communicants and their families who had been practicing. The theme Feeding God's Children fit in perfectly.
UMBRELLA -A red, white and blue umbrella was left behind after 1st Communion practice.
PLEASE EAT BREAKFAST!
Breakfast is such an important start to a good day at school. I have been treating many stomachaches in the morning here at school due to hungry children. Please make sure to fill your "engine with fuel" to help assure a healthy and happy start to your morning. Thank you! Mrs. Winston

I'VE OFTEN WONDERED
Why are a wise man and a wise guy opposites?
Why is it called after dark when it really is after light?
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected?
Why do you press harder on the buttons of a remote control when you know the batteries are dead?
Why do they call it a TV set when you only have one?
If a word is misspelled in the dictionary, how would we ever know?
