The day begins with announcements, prayer and pledge of allegiance...and then most importantly EXERCISES. The 5th Grade students participate in exercises and some morning stretches to get the blood circulating in their body and their mind ready to function. The exercises are simple. They don't make the students sweat, just get them focused for great day of learning ahead. 

Abdominal crunches in the chair, help your core for proper body posture while writing.

The Fifth Grade Class also do the following...

Arm circles forward help get those hands ready for writing.

Bends to the front, side, back and other side.  Helps for proper posture.

Neck circles helps prepare students for a day of reading chalkboards and books.

Toes touches in the chair help shake off that last bit or morning sleepiness.
