The Art Academy Classes
Teacher: How fast does light travel?
Student: I don’t know, but it sure gets here early in the morning!
Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead this weekend.
Looking for something special to put in that Easter basket? Out of Uniform passes will be sold for $1.00 and up to 5 may be bought.
Out of uniform days are Fridays only. Please be aware of what your child is wearing on those days. Students should be dressed appropriately and neatly. With warmer weather coming here are a few guide lines: no midriff tops, no skin tight clothing, no spaghetti straps/tank tops, no low cut shirts, no baggy shorts and the length of the shorts should go past their fingertips. No t-shirt with inappropriate logos or pictures.
Uniforms – It’s amazing how much students have grown since the beginning of school! Parents take a few minutes and look at your student’s uniforms. Do hems need to be taken down? Do pants or shirts need to be mended? We have three months left of school. Let’s keep uniforms neat and clean.
THE SEASON OF LENT
Each child received a token of a Lamb. On it is written LENT –“Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” This token can be worn on a string, carried in the child’s pocket, left in their desk or placed in a special spot in your home as a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice for us and how much He loved us.
We took 64 lbs of personal care items to Neighbors last week.
For the next few weeks we will be collecting non-perishable food items such as:
Juice – chili – peas – Spaghetti O’s
Canned tomatoes - syrup – pancake mix
Baby food is their #1 need.
You may send these items to school with your child and as always we appreciate your generosity.

CANDY BAR MONEY/ MAGAZINE & SHOPPING CARD ORDERS may be turned in any time.
At this time I have 2 boxes of candy bars left. I do not want to order more unless I know they will sell. I would have to order 5 more cases (4 boxes ineach = 20 boxes) to avoid a $50.00 delivery charge. I cannot return cases. I have to pay the bill by April 4. Our last day of school, before Easter break, is March 26. Therefore, I would need the money by then. If you are interested in more boxes let me know soon. Then I can decide if I should order more.
SHOPPING CARDS – Remember you need to sell 4 books to earn a lucky duck.
The St. Michael web site is up and running. Mrs. Packer is now able to put new items on the class pages. We changed the host for our web site. We are still having problems with a few emails. Mrs. Breckenridge, Sr. Geran and Ms. Wees are not able to receive emails. We are working on that problem.
