A parent donated a lace first communion dress, size 7, including the veil. Please contact the school office if you are interested in this dress.

FELLOWSHIP SUNDAY, APRIL 18, after the 8 am and 10:30 am Masses. Sponsored by the Board of Education. Hope for the City items will be available.

School Store Wrap-up
Fourth graders have successfully completed their work with the school store.

Thank you to all those who shopped with us!

Profits from the store will be donated to Feed My Starving Children. School supplies will still be available in the fourth grade classroom for the rest of the year.

All students in grades K-7 are expected to attend both programs.

St. Michael School has just announced reduced tuition for new students of $2000 for next year (2010 - 11). In addition, we are offering a $250.00 finders fee for recruiting a new family or new student. The $250.00 will be credited towards your tuition or family of your choice or it may be credited to the recruited family/students tuition at the end of the school year. The recruited family/student must attend the full school year for the amount to be credited.

SCHOOL CALENDAR 2010-2011

School begins Tuesday, Sept. 7

Thanksgiving Vacation will include Wednesday this year, November 24 - 26.

Christmas break begins Wednesday, Dec. 22 returning Jan. 3

Spring break is March 21 - 25.

Easter is April 24. The District is off Good Friday only. We will take Holy Thursday and Easter Monday off, too.

FOOD DRIVE & EARTH DAY

We are continuing our efforts to donate food and personal items to Neighbors. This drive will end on Saturday, April 24 when we Join Hands with the Foresters on Saturday (as part of Earth Day) to have a parish clean up day. The Foresters plan to be here from 8 am until noon. During that time we will box the items for Neighbors and clean the yard. Bring rakes, gloves and muscles. Join us at any time to help spruce up the parish and school grounds. Remember First Communion Practice is at 10:00am that same day.
