SAME SOUND, BIG DIFFERENCE!
Inflation affects the buying power of the dollar, and we all know what effect that has on our budget.
I wrote a letter on stationery while riding my stationary bike.
It's way too important to use homophones correctly, especially when you use two or more in the same sentence.
I'd like to accept your invitation, except I'm out of town this Friday.
I wouldn't have paid one cent for that scent you sent me.
You're right if you think homophones are confusing, and I hope this is helpful in your future!
Congratulations Father O'Hotto

Thank you for your 30 years of faithful leadership and guidance to the many parishioners who have known you.
With appreciation, St. Michael School.
Living out the Values of Vatican II continued
Mrs. Landreville did not give me the following paragraph but someone else emailed it to me. I felt it was worth sharing.
Mrs. Landreville is a teacher that St. Michael's School is fortunate to have. All of the students love her. As for me she is one of the best religion teachers that I will ever meet. She shares her faith with all of her students. The class could be reading out of the religion book and she makes a comment. This in turn starts a huge discussion about religion. Mrs. Landreville shares her faith with every young child that walks through St. Michael's doors. She could not even be talking about religion and we see how she loves God. In her classroom there are many religious posters. One poster says love God and all that belongs to Him. She makes the best Communion Meditations that hit you right in the heart. Or you could say after her Meditations they are better than having a V8. She is so pleasant and kind. You could tell her anything and know that she won't go telling anything you just told her in private. She always worries about her students. You could go to school feeling horrible because you have a cold or had a fight with your friend. Just seeing Mrs. Landreville being happy in the morning can get you feeling better.

JUNE 20 is Father's Day
WORDS FROM A FATHER
My family is all grown now, the kids are all gone, but if I had it to do all over again, this is what I would do:
I would love my wife more in front of my children.
I would laugh with my children more at our mistakes and at our joys.
I would listen more even to the youngest child.
I would be more honest about my own weaknesses and stop pretending any perfection.
I would pray differently for my family instead of focusing so much on them. I would focus more on me.
I would do more things with my children.
I would do more encouraging, and I would bestow more praise.
I would pay more attention to the little things, the little deeds, the words of love and kindness.
Finally, if I had to do it all over again, I would share God more intimately with my family.
I would use ordinary things that happened in ordinary days to point them to God.
God is with us. He desires that our families not be fiddled by the storms of life that are raging around us. He wants our families to be a safe harbor. Be strong.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL
