TONIGHT – CHUCK E. CHEESE

HOME & SCHOOL MEETINGS
Tuesday, Sep. 22 PM in the Gym
The meeting is for parents of students in grades K-5.
I expect to see ALL KINDERGARTEN parents. Most of you are new to our school and I need to speak to you as a group.
First through fifth grade parents, your teachers are also anxious to talk to you about their expectations for the year. This meeting is one of the most important of the school year. Please make every effort to attend. I’m sorry we cannot offer babysitting, it is important that you do not bring children. This is time for teacher and parents to work together.

IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH

Please make sure you call the school office if your child will be absent. Report any serious illness such as flu, pink eye, strep throat, etc. Also call if your child will be late. Remember to order hot lunch if need be. If your child is late they must check in with the office before going to class. A note must be sent to the office and teacher if your child is leaving school early or taking another route home than usual. It is important that we have emergency information on file in the office. Please make sure you handed in your family emergency form. Thank you for your help!

National Family Game Night

What are you doing on September 23rd? Clear the events calendar and join a nationwide movement to strengthen family relationships by playing games at home during the first official National Family Game Night. Families, pause your hectic schedules and take part in an evening of game play to reconnect and reenergize relationships.

.

This grassroots effort encourages families to switch off electronic distractions and engage in other forms of entertainment that promote conversation and interaction, such as playing games.

In this economy, National Family Game Night is a way that families can enjoy a night of fun without breaking the bank. In addition to hours of fun, a night of game play promotes laughter and provides opportunities to teach essential life skills such as patience, turn taking and teamwork, as well as losing gracefully and following instructions.

We hope that you will join in the National Family Game Night festivities, turn off the television and start to have a meaningful, fun family experience playing games. Happy gaming!
