SAT10 TESTING – Grades 1 – 8.
Final week of SAT10 testing must be finished by Friday. Just a reminder parents, be sure your child has a good breakfast and please try not to make appointments during the day. You may want to check with your child’s teacher to see when they are testing.
CHANGE OF DATE FOR BABYSITTING COURSE due to multiple requests, the Babysitting Course will now take place on October 22nd from 10-2 and October 23rd from 12-4. Please contact Deb Gutzman at 651-224-1884 for more details.
ST. MICHAEL BOOYA
Our annual Booya will be next Sunday, October 16 beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until all the Booya is gone. The cost is just $4.00 per bowl and will also be available by the quart, half gallon or gallon.
Baked goods are needed to sell during the Booya. If you would like to donate some of your favorite baked treats, please drop them off before any of the weekend Masses or contact Roberta Grady at 651-455-5986 for further information.
If you are available on Saturday, October 15 after the 5:00 p.m. Mass, we would appreciate your help preparing the vegetables for the Booya. This is a great opportunity for Confirmation students to obtain needed service hours.
Out of town on October 16? No problem, call the Parish Center at 651-457-2334 to reserve your Booya. We will freeze it for you. Pre-payment required, please. If you have questions please contact Jack Gutzman at 651-224-1884.
October 12 – BASE CAMP Field trip for grades 5 – 8
WENTWORTH LIBRARY: Do you like animals? Do you like to read? If the answer is yes, please come to the Dakota County Library on Wentworth for Waggin’ Tales. You’ll get to read to a friendly, furry dog or cat – they are wonderful listeners! Come to the library on Saturday, October 15 between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon to read to your Waggin’ Tales buddy. It’s tons of fun!
Thank you for all the volunteers that helped make the Marathon a successful and safe event. Special thanks to the teacher guides and the following parents: Annie Mangan, Julie Sieve, Alan Klimisch, Mark Andersen, Ric Wilson, Erenia Benitez, Brooke Blakey, Toni Cruz, Beth Tressel, Tracy Judge, Bruce Dunsmore, John Henjum, Gloria Allie, and Julie Florez. Thank you to the Home & School committee for the cookies and juice. It was so great that Mrs. Stevens came back and volunteered to help. If I missed someone, I apologize and please let me know.

Twenty-six (26) students have made their goal of $100.00 Thank you. Total amount collected is $5201 our goal is $10,000. We will have two more collections Monday, Oct. 10 and Thursday, Oct.13. The winners will be announced at the Marathon assembly on Wed. Oct 19 at 2:30 pm.
