REGIONAL SCHOOL UPDATE
Has the Board of Directors been meeting? Yes, the pastors and an appointed lay board member for Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. John Vianney, St. Matthew’s, and St. Michael’s have been meeting on a weekly basis. Most steering committees have also been meeting regularly as well – look for an update of the progress they’ve been making in next week’s packet.
Why hasn’t Holy Trinity been participating with the Board of Directors or steering committees? Holy Trinity has appealed the South St. Paul site location. The outcome of this appeal should be known within the next week. Regardless of the outcome, St. Michael’s will remain a site. Holy Trinity has opted not to participate in the planning stages while they await the decision.
Next Tuesday look for some important information coming home about the Regional School and the Steering Committees.
