COMING HOME:
SCHOOL SPOTLIGHT
Mrs. Koenigsberger’s 5th Gr. Religion – Symbols used in our worship of God. They made a mobile with some of the symbols, i.e. bread & wine, Alpha & Omega,
History – Mr. Harvey (8), Ms. Casey (7) & Mrs. Charley (6) all began with the study of the “Five Themes of Geography”.
Ask your 6th grader about some of the Legends they read.
FATHER RUDOLPH visited the Kindergarten and First Grade classes during Religion time. He explained the difference between a cross and a crucifix. Do you know the difference?
VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHT:
Mrs. Angelique Packer, parent of Cody (K), Wyatt, (5) and Monique (6). Mrs. Packer keeps our school website up to date. How often do you check it out?
PARENTS - Wish you could spend more time with your child? I have the perfect solution.
VOLUNTEER!
Do you drop your child off in the morning? Could you stay a little longer and help watch the students on the playground one of the five days? We still need help from 8:15 – 8:35am.
Or lunch recess from noon-12:20? Get a little fresh air, a little exercise. Children love to see their parents helping.
TARGET
Do you have a Target charge card? I use mine for items I have to order for the school. If you designated St. Michael School for their Take Charge Program thank you. We received a check for $1305.70.
CONGRATULATIONS TO GABBI HAWKINS (GR. 8) AND SAM SCHEWDA (GR. 3)
