Respect Life Committee and A Community Caring For Life
The Respect Life Committee promotes pro-life activities in our parish and school. They assist the pastor in planning the annual Respect Life Sunday Liturgy. Speakers are brought into the school and the adult education program. They organize a group to attend the January 22 rally at the state capitol. Most years they host an after Sunday Masses fundraiser to support Wakota Life-Care Center. For more information, please call the contact person.
As part of the Archdiocesan “A Community Caring for Life” effort, St. Michael's parish pledges its support to provide immediate practical help to any woman experiencing a difficult pregnancy. Volunteers are needed who can provide meals, car repair, and other services. Wakota Life-Care Center makes occasional referrals to this volunteer group and would like to make more. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially needed. If you would like to volunteer for this ministry, please call the contact person.
