(Unsolicitied letter from parent continued...)

...of our students (especially the girls) during the game.

Mistakes were made during the game but the students were not yelled at.

Instead they were told that it was all right, we all make mistakes.

When a teammate fell on the floor, two other teammates helped her get back on her feet.

When one of our girls accidentally hit an opposing player in the face, she was genuinely

sorry and concerned for the player. It may have been just a basketball game, but the

examples of compassion and teamwork were an excellent lesson for my son to witness.

I am so proud to say that I am a parent of a St. Michael student.

The teachers and coaches are building character on and off the court.

Thanks.
